Power Supply Module Replacement
CAUTION
: Before removing a power supply module
from a power supply slot, it is recommended that
ac power be removed from the power supply module
to prevent damage to the DM-PSU-3X8-RPS.
CAUTION
: The power supply modules are static
sensitive. Standard electrostatic discharge
precautions should be followed when handling the
modules.
NOTE
: Although the DM-PSU-3X8-RPS continues to
operate if a single power supply module fails, it is
recommended that the failed power supply module be
replaced as soon as possible to restore power supply
module redundancy.
NOTE
: The power supply modules are hot
swappable; therefore, a failed power supply module
can be replaced without removing power from the
other power supply modules in the
DM-PSU-3X8-RPS.
