To log in to the switch:
1. Enter the user name and password. The default user name is
admin,
and the
default password is
admin.
NOTE:
The user name and password are case sensitive.
NOTE:
For enhanced security, changing the default user name and
password is recommended. For information about changing the user name
and password, refer to “Password” on page 15.
2. Click
OK.
The home screen of the switch opens, allowing selection of the
desired functions.
Navigating the Configuration Utility
The home menu provides six main selections:
Home

Status
,
General
,
TCP/IP
,
Port
,
and
Port Mirroring
. The
Status
and
General
selections include the following
subselections.

The
Status
selection provides a subselection that allows access to the
System Log
and
Port
.
