The power amplifier shall have two channels and
deliver a limited maximum of 575 watts at 4
ohms, 1kHz. • The amplifier shall incorporate pro-
tection circuitry against output short circuits, DC
voltage on outputs, thermal overload, and load
protection due to any form of amplifier failure. It will include imped-
ance sensing circuitry, an RMS clip limiter, and AutoRamp signal
control. The amplifier shall have a voltage gain of 23dB with an input
sensitivity of 3.5V for 300W at 8 ohms. The hum and noise level
shall be greater than 100 dB below rated output, “A” weighted. •
Intermodulation distortion shall be less than 0.05 % from 250 watts to
full rated power. The amplifier shall have a class AB output stage
with a modulated class H power supply. The frequency response shall
be greater than 20Hz-20kHz, +0, -.3dB at rated power. • The amplifi-
er will operate at 220/240 volts, 50Hz AC. Maximum current draw at
240V shall not exceed 10 amperes, both channels driven continuously
into a 4 ohm resistor. • Front panel indicators shall include Active,
Temp/DC, Signal Present and Clip/Limit LED’s for each channel.
Front panel gain pots shall be recessed and detented. • Input connec-
tors shall be XLR-type. Output connectors shall be 5-way output
binding posts. Octal Sockets for optional accessory modules and a
signal/ground lift jumper shall be provided. • The packaging of the
amplifier shall allow for standard rack mounting without requiring
space between similar units. Dimensions shall be 3.5" (8.89cm) high
x 19" (48.26cm) wide x 15" (38.10cm) deep. The amplifier shall have
a net weight of 21.8kg (48lbs.) net. The amplifier shall be designated
