W ireless Mode: There are totally 5 wireless modes, including: S tation, Access Point, W DS
S tation, W DS Access Point and W DS Repeater.
Access Point: Access point.
S tation (or C lient): A client device that can connect to an AP.
W DS S tation: U se W DS feature to link multiple APs in a network, all associated stations
from any AP can communicate with each other like in ad-hoc mode. W DS station means
this device is a station in W DS mode.
W DS AP: U se W DS feature to link multiple APs in a network, all associated stations from
any AP can communicate with each other like in ad-hoc mode. W DS AP means this
device is an AP in W DS mode.
W DS Repeater: A TB5F device can be configured to W DS Repeater mode, so that it can
connected to another W DS S tation or W DS Repeater.
S S ID: N ame of a wireless.
S hown in Figure 20, the user can click the S elect button to list all the S S IDs that can be
associated, and then choose the one need to be associated.
Frequency MH z: This only appears when the device is configured to Access Point mode
or W DS Access Point mode. The device can only work on one channel at the same time.
