Unpacking the Heater

 

 

WARNING:

 Do NOT use this electric fireplace heater if any part has been under 

water.  Immediately contact Crane Customer Care or a qualified electrician to inspect or 
replace the heater if necessary.  Keep plastic wrapping away from children. 
 

1.

 

Open the packaging carefully and remove the foam. 
 

2.

 

Remove and discard the plastic bag. 

Be responsible when handling the packing materials. 

 

3.

 

Crane recommends keeping the original packaging for future transport and/or 
storage of the fireplace heater. 

 

Placing the Heater

 

 

1.

 

Place the heater on the floor in the desired location.   

 

WARNING:

 Keep combustible materials – such as furniture, pillows, bedding, 

papers, clothes and curtains —at least 3 feet from the front of the heater.  Also 
keep them away from the sides and rear. 
 

2.

 

Ensure that the heater’s control knob is switched to Power Off.   
 

3.

 

Plug the heater into a 120VAC outlet.  This 
heater’s plug has a grounding pin.  As a safety 
feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, 
this plug is intended to fit in a wall outlet in one 
way.  If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, 
contact a qualified electrician.  Do not attempt 
to defeat this safety feature.
