QUICK-START SETUP GUIDE
Congratulations on purchasing a Craftsman

storage unit with Smart Lock technology.
Refer to this quick-start guide to set up your Smart Lock.

1.
Download the free Craftsman
®
Smart Lock
Toolbox app to your smartphone.
2.
Insert the key and turn to the unlocked
position (clockwise). Note: the key will
spring back to the 12 o’clock position. Verify
the toolbox is unlocked. Remove the key.
3.
With drawers empty, remove one or two
drawers directly beneath the lock by pulling
the drawer out completely. To do so, pull up
on the black slide-release tab on one slide,
and push down on the other slide lock and
pull the drawer straight out. If the drawer
has two sets of slides, repeat for each set.
4.
Inside the toolbox where the drawers were
removed, look up into the area behind
the key lock. You will see the Smart Lock
mechanism directly behind the key lock.
Locate the battery pack that’s attached by
velcro to the inside of the toolbox top; using
a flashlight may help. Carefully pull the
battery pack from its velcro attachment.
