Safety specifications have been introduced in North America which relate to the design of lawnmowers
intended for consumer use.

These specifications are intended to reduce the risks of blade contact injuries.

This lawnmower was designed to incorporate all such recommended design features. Example of such
features are:

- Dead man controls and blade braking which bring the blade to rest within 3 seconds of the release of the
control handle.

- Operator zone starting - to prevent restarting of the mower while being in the close vicinity of the cutter
blade.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CIRCUMVENT THESE FEATURES - THEY ARE INTENDED FOR YOUR
SAFETY.
