Installation
Install the detector on the door case (window frame),
and attach the magnet to the moving part of the door
(window) to the alignment mark of the detector. The
magnet should be aligned with the middle of detector
and placed within 0.6 inches (1.5cm) away from the
detector when the door or window is closed.
Note:
1. Do not install outdoors, on a weak foundation, or in a
rainy / wet location.
2. Do not place magnets or other electromagnetic
objects near the contact sensor to avoid interference
with the sensor.
