Put the child in the seat and place their legs on either side 

of the buckle pad

Pull the headrest adjustment handle

seat, and adjust the headrest to the proper height for your child (

Tighten or loosen the shoulder straps, and adjust them a proper 

length suitable for the child. (

the two buckle latches into the harness buckle
