2.2.1 Gas Inlet System Overview

The gas inlet system, shown in Figure 2-3 and Fi gure 2-4, entrains room air. It also delivers
externally supplied oxygen to the ventilator and regulates the oxygen to a pressure usable by
the ventilator.
