Puritan Bennett™ 700 Series Ventilator System Service Manual

8.3.3  Removing/installing oxygen cylinder brackets

Remove the oxygen cylinder brackets from the cart as follows. Install by reversing removal 
procedure. 

(See 

Figure 8-3).

1.

Loosen cylinder-retaining wing screws. Lift out cylinders.

2.

Using 7-mm nutdriver, remove four M4 nuts with captive lockwashers that retain each of 
two lower cylinder supports. Remove supports.

3.

Using 5-mm hex driver, remove two M6 x 16 screws, flat washers, and split-ring washers 
that retain each of two upper cylinder brackets. Remove brackets.
