Troubleshooting 

 

Fault description 

Fault / remedy 

The device does not turn on 
 
Device turns off 

-No battery in the device or the battery is 
flat 

Check the battery and replace if 
necessary

Batteries are incorrectly inserted 

Check that batteries are inserted 
correctly. The poles are engraved on the 
underside of the device. 

Sensor fault 

-

The sensor is faulty

 

Send the device to the supplier for repair 

 

 

 
Please contact Cosmos Service if the faults cannot be corrected. 

 

 
Caution:  Used alkali batteries 
                 - do not throw into fire                                                
                 - do not charge batteries (risk of explosion!) 
                 - do not use force to open. Risk of explosion!                         
 
Only dispose of as toxic waste. Comply with local regulations governing disposal.
