Insulation tests can only be
done with DC voltages. Grid
connection against PE and
grid connection against con-
trol voltage with maximum
500V DC, voltage rise of 0,4s.

The operating instructions
are part of the product and
have to keep carefully.
Directed operation contains
also keeping the proceedings
described in this operating
manual at Installation,
mounting and maintenance.
The fans may only be opera-
ted when they are installed as
intended and when safety ensured by safety equipment
according to DIN EN 13857 or
by other protection measures.
We refer that the existing
operating instruction are valid
only for the fan described in
this manual.

DESCRIPTION
Tube fans were specially develo-
ped for the application in modern
ventilation systems and are sui-
table for the support of less dusty
air, slightly non-aggressive gases
and vapors. The size designation
corresponds to the tube connec-
tion diameter. The drive is made
through the EC-external rotor
motor which is installed in the
radial impeller. The fans are
exclusively suitable for the interior
installation. The integrated motor protection is
signaled through a digital output
or a speedometer output. The
tube fans were delivered in steel
case, powder-coated platinum
grey according to RAL 7036. All
fans were prior to delivery stati-
cally and dynamically ballanced in
our factory.
The fans up to Size 250 are equip-
ped in protection IP44. From size
315 are equipped in protection
IP54.

CONDITION OF USE
EC Tube fans are suitable for
ventilation of:

clean air

slightly dust greasy air

slightly aggresive gases and
fumes

mediums up to an atmo-
spheric of 1,3 kg/m3

mediums up to a max. humi-
dity 95%

STORAGE & TRANSPORT

Store the fan on a dry place
and weather protected in its
original packing.

Avoid a distortion of casing or
blades or other damage.

Do not transport at the lead.

Cover open palettes with a
tarpaulin and protect the fans
against influence of dirt (i.e.
stones, splinters, wires, etc.).

Storage temperatures
between - 20 °C and + 40 °C

Protect the device through to
the assembly from environ-
mental impacts and dirt.

With storage times of more
than 1 year please check the
bearings on soft running befo-
re mounting (=> turn by hand).
Prior to putting in operation
the gap distances of
rotating components must al-
so be checked (=> assembly).
