Place your child in the child car seat.
Fit the harness around your child and fasten the harness buckle by joining the shoulder
straps (e) and pushing them both into the buckle (f).
Check that the harness is not twisted and pull the harness up (g) to tighten the lap
sections which is designed to fit low down on your child’s body.
Pull the adjuster strap forward (h) making sure the harness is a comfortable but FIRM fit
around your child.
Finally, pull both chest pads down (i) from your child’s shoulders onto their chest.
Note: The chest pads are an important safety feature. Never use the car seat without them.
8 - removing the covers
Remove the shoulder straps, chest pads and upper seat liner. (See step 5).
Unfasten the buckle.
Locate the crotch strap clip under the seat. Push the clip through the seat (a), the seat
cover (b) and the lower seat liner (c).
Remove the clips from the end of the harness straps (d).
Starting on one side carefully pull the cover off from around the seat (e).
Pull the cover off the harness straps (f) and the adjuster strap (g).
Once the cover is removed, feed the harness straps through the slots in the seat base (h).
Refitting of the cover and harness is a reversal of this procedure.
Note: When first fitting the harness strap through the slots in the seat base ensure the
length of each end of the harness strap protruding through the seat is equal. Ensure the
straps are not twisted at all times.
IMPORTANT:
The cover is a safety feature. NEVER use the child car
seat without it.
