Purging the Pump.

  To purge the pump, place the pump inlet into a suitable vessel containing the aqueous-

based solution, as shown here. 

 

Next remove the fitting to the inlet side of the flow sensor, as shown below.  This will relieve the backpressure 
in the system during the purge process.
