14. TEST CONDITIONS
The performance and operation of the equipment has been tested according to the following conditions:
• 400 ppm NaCl solution
• Applied pressure of 50 psi (3.5 bar)
• 25°C Operating temperature:
• 7.0-8.0 pH Range
With these specified working conditions, the equipment is able to:
• Work with a production of 6 L of permeate water: 4 L of reject water. This reject water will be
reused in the mains.
• The equipment conversion is at 60%.
Outside of the indicated test conditions, the aforementioned production and conversion cannot be
guaranteed. The conditions that could modify the production and conversion would be:
• Higher or lower temperature.
• Greater or lesser equipment feed pressure
• Greater TDS.
In the specific case of temperature, it is a factor that can influence the production of permeate.
To determine the variation of permeate water, measure the temperature of the water, look for the associated
factor and divide the production of the membrane installed by this factor. You will get the adjusted production
of permeate water.
