10. Once the headset has completed the update install (which can take up to
20 minutes), we are ready to install the Antser application.
11. First of all, download the
“v0.4” file from Dropbox (or wherever it is being hosted, if
you are unsure, please contact us to email this file to you).
12. Unzip the file by right-clicking, and selecting
‘Extract’.
13. A new folder will be created called
“v0.4”, enter this folder.
14. Plug your switched-on Pico headset into your PC via USB.
15. Wait approximately 15 seconds to ensure it is connected and recognised, then
double click the file
‘install(Windows)’.
16. A black command-prompt window will appear on-screen. After approximately 30
seconds you should see the word
“Success!” followed by “Press any key to
continue…”.
17. Press any key and the window will disappear, the application is installed!
18. Back to the headset, put it on.
19. Head into
‘Settings’ by selecting the Settings Icon at the top of the home screen.
20. On the far right, select
‘About’.
21. In the centre of the screen, the top setting will be
‘PUI version’. Click on this
setting 5 times and Developer mode will be unlocked.
22. On the far right, you will now see Advanced Settings. Select this.
23. Scroll down to
‘System’ and select it.
24. Scroll down to
‘Developer Options’.
25. Scroll down until you find
‘Special Settings’ (this is quite far down the menu).
26. Under
‘Special Settings’, you will find ‘auto-sleep’. Turn the setting off.
