Installing the speaker
C12PNC subwoofer
1. Positioning the cabinet
The C12PNC is designed to be installed with the woofer facing the rear- or side wall, so
that it will be visually perceived as a pouffe for seating. Just allow a minimum of 10 cm
(4 inches) distance from the cabinet to the wall.
Polarity should NOT be reversed, as the reflected sound from the wall will be in phase
with the top-boxes.
2. Connect the speaker cable
The speaker cable terminal is located behind the grille. When you receive the prod-
uct, you can remove the grille by pulling the leather strap outwards.
3. Recommended speaker cables
Speaker cables present the amplifier with different loads. Cables with high capaci-
tance, high inductance and high impedance have a strong negative influence on sound
quality as well as amplifier reliability, so in order to get the most out of the speaker
system, avoid using thin speaker cables.
As a rule of thumb, 2 mm2 (14 AWG) cable can be used for lengths up to 20 meters. 4
mm2 (11 AWG) cable should be used for lengths over 20 meters. For lengths over 50
meters, most amplifiers will become unstable and sound quality is reduced significantly.

Insert the speaker cable into one of the holes at the bottom of the cabinet and
stick it through so that it will come up behind the grill, where it can be mounted
in the push terminals.
The lower (red) push terminal is plus (+).
Reinstall the grille simply by pushing it back into place. The leather strap can
now be pushed into the grove between the cabinet and grille so that the grille
is more difficult to remove,
