switched on while the jug kettle is empty or dry boiling. In this case, let
the appliance cool down completely before filling in water.
Before commencing to clean the jug kettle, ensure that the mains power is
switched OFF and the power cord is removed from the appliance. Wait until
the jug kettle is at room temperature before commencing to clean it.

Never immerse the jug kettle into water, or allow moisture to come into
contact with it.

When it is necessary, the exterior surfaces may be cleaned with a soft
damp cloth. Never use any chemical or abrasive solution to clean the
jug kettle.

To clean the interior of the jug kettle, use a food-grade descaling
compound manufactured for this purpose, such as citric acid.
