OPERATION
Adjusting Pole length
The Pole Pruner has a telescoping pole assembly that will exceed from 1.8m
(fully retracted) to 2.6m (fully extended). There are two inner poles that can
be retracted or extended. Coupling nuts are used to hold the pole in
position at any extended length.
To extend the pole, turn the knob 2, counterclockwise. Pole will slide freely.
Pull inner pole section out to desired length of extension.
To lock pole in position, turn nut clockwise until firmly hand tight.
If fully extended inner pole 1 length is not desired, Inner pole 2 can be
extended too following same steps as described above.
HOW TO OPERATE
Extension cords
Use proper extension cords with this Pole Pruner. Use only extension cords
marked for outdoor use. Use proper sized cord with this Pole Pruner. Cord must
be heavy enough to carry current needed. An undersized cord will cause voltage
drop at Pole Pruner. Pole Pruner will lose power and overheat.
Keep cord away from cutting area. Make sure cord does not catch on branches or
logs during cutting. Inspect cords often. Replace damaged cords. The extension
cord my come undone from the power cord during use. To avoid this, make a
knot with the two cords.
Note: Some models come with cable long enough for operation. In this case,
extension cable is not necessary.
Always use a RCD plug.
