INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Always apply the brakes before transferring a person onto or from the chair.

1. 

Lift the footplates and fold the foot rests to each side before transfer.

2. 

For side transfer, pull the locking knob of the armrest with one hand (on the 

3. 

required side) while

 the armrest with the other hand. Do not allow the 

armrest to fall.

After transfer, replace the armrest into position ensuring that it has locked

firmly in place.

Replace the footrests and check they have locked firmly into position.

Always make sure that the commode pan has been securely locked into place

SAFETY

For indoor use only on flat hard surfaces

Do not use in the shower

• 

Always lock the brakes when the user is seated

• 

Do not stand on the footrests

• 

Do not pick up the chair whilst the user is seated

• 

If picking up an object from the chair, ensure the castors are positioned towards 

• 

the object to increase the stability of the chair.

Do  not  use  or  store  in  extreme  temperatures  and  avoid  storing  in  direct 

• 

sunlight.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Regularly check and tighten as required all clips, nuts and bolts. 

• 

Regularly inspect the entire chair for excessive wear and replace parts where 

• 

necessary. This includes brakes.

It is recommended that the chair is cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and soapy 

• 

water. Dry with a soft cloth. Excessive moisture may cause corrosion.

Do not use any abrasive cleaners or wire wool pads. The commode pan 

• 

cannot 

be cleaned in an autoclave.

Always thoroughly inspect the chair before use after maintenance or cleaning to 

• 

ensure that it is functioning correctly.

DISPOSAL

The product does not contain any hazardous substances. Dispose of the individual 

parts at your local facility.
