Before using the ladder
1.
Always ensure the ladder is fully unfolded and hinges, footplates and safety locking clip are securely in
position before use.
2.
Do NOT use if damaged in any way.
3.
Maximum weight load limit: 150kg.
4.
Always take care when mounting and dismounting. Always mount and dismount facing towards the
ladder.
5.
Always clear the work area of any hazards or obstacles before use, including overhead.
6.
Always wear suitable footwear when using the ladder.
7.
Do NOT lean from the ladder. Always re-site the ladder to a more suitable position.
8.
Only use on a firm, flat and level surface.
9.
Periodically check that all nuts and bolts are secure and joints are well lubricated.
10.
For domestic use only.
11.
Children should be kept away from the work area. Do NOT allow children to climb on the ladder.
Positioning of the ladder
The ladder must be placed in the correct position with rungs or treads level and completely opened until
locked.
Ensure the locking device is engaged before use.
Use on a flat stable surface.
Check all electrical equipment in the work area e.g. high-voltage power lines or other exposed electrical
equipment.
The ladder should be placed on its feet, not on the rungs or steps.
Ladders must not be placed on slippery surfaces (e.g. ice) or soiled surfaces.

The maximum weight load must not exceed the maximum of 150kg.
