Intended Use
The ALLY UPS
®
Cart’s primary function is to provide storage for the ALLY UPS
®
. This Cart
has a compact design for easy maneuverability of the ALLY UPS
®
. It also allows the user to
deliver the ALLY UPS
®
right to the edge of the Operating Room Table before lifting it onto
the OR Table rail.
The ALLY UPS
®
Cart has a rear storage compartment that allows for storage of the Foot
Pedal/ Cable/Power Cord, with enough storage space for an extension cord if it is used with
ALLY UPS
®
. There is also a pocket to store the ALLY UPS
®
Rail Clamp.
Caution

NEVER
use the ALLY UPS
®
while it resides in the Cart.

transporting the ALLY UPS

since they may catch on other devices that pass by.
Instructions for Use
When it is time to attach the ALLY UPS
®
to the Operating Room table, go through the
following steps to ensure the safe movement of the ALLY UPS
®
. These instructions
assume that the ALLY UPS
®
and Rail Clamp have been removed from the shipping box
and placed in the ALLY UPS
®
Cart.
1. Wheel the Cart (and ALLY UPS
®
) up
close (next) to the Operating Room
Table (this allows the ALLY UPS
®
to
be lifted the shortest distance possible
to get it into position). Lock the two
Front Wheels to prevent the Cart from
rolling. See Photo 3.
2. Remove the Rail Clamp from the
Cart and place on the Rail, sliding
into position. Notice how close
(the top of) the ALLY UPS
®
is to the
OR Table. See Photo 4.
