Silencing an Alarm
In an alarm the control unit gives a tone from the siren (except for medical alarms). The siren runs for a limited time set
by the installer (a maximum 20 minutes for intruder and PA alarms).
If you return to the system after the siren has stopped then the
lamp on the display tells you that an alarm has
occurred. If you return to the system while the siren is running you can silence the siren as follows:

EITHER The display returns to normal.
OR The installer may have programmed your system so
that the screen will tell you where the alarm occurred, and
also show a message asking you to call the installer.
