Remove the axle  nut and washer and screw off the
protective  cap from the rear  sprocket.

Place  the chain  around the chain wheel on the drive
unit and around the rear wheel  sprocket.  Fit the rear
wheel back into its mounting. Do not tighten the nuts
yet.
