Use
Using the Pause function
1. When the cooking zones are on, touch the Pause control “
” and all displays will show “II” and stop heating. Only
Pause “
” and On / Off “ ” can be used at this time.
2. Touch the Pause control “
” again to recommence cooking and the displays will show the current status.
IMPORTANT: Using the Pause control will temporarily stop all cooking, including the Power Timer
option above.
IMPORTANT: The maximum pause time allowed is ten minutes, and if cooking is not restarted in
this time, the hob will automatically switch off.
Using the Boil function
Activating the Boil function
Touch the cooking zone selector you wish to control.
Touch the Boil control , the zone indicator shows “L2” or “2L”. Use for boiling 2 litres of water.
Touch the Boil control again, the zone indicator shows “L3” or “3L”. Use for boiling 3 litres of water.
Touch the Boil control for the third time, the zone indicator shows “L5” or “5L”. Use for boiling 5 litres of water.
Touch the Boil control for the fourth time, the zone indicator shows “0” and the boil function is cancelled.
The buzzer will sound when the water boils and touch any key to cancel the function.
Cancelling the Boil function
Touch the cooking zone selector you wish to control.
Move the Power / Timer selector to the new power level or
touch the Boost control once to select the boost function.
IMPORTANT: To boil 2 litres of water choose “2 L” for the rear zone and “L 2” for the front zone.
IMPORTANT: Choose “L 3” / “3 L” or “L 5” / “5 L” for 3 or 5 litres of water respectively.
IMPORTANT: The hob will automatically control the power output and extend the heating time to
protect the circuit from overheating during use.
