In the "Format" menu you can delete all the partitions from the hard disk. You can
then set up new partitions in the "Partition" menu.
During the formatting process, all the data will be deleted from the hard disk.
The system report (system.log) will also be deleted.

This menu displays up-to-date information on your hard disk. This consists of:

total storage capacity of the hard disk
♦
number of partitions set up
♦
remaining free disk space
Information on the individual partitions is displayed below these general data. This
consists of:

type of partition (refer to Chapter 9.5.1)
♦
cameras
selected
♦
maximum number of images/events that can be stored on the partition
♦
number of images/events already recorded
♦
Continuous recording – specifies whether the recording is terminated or continued
at the beginning of the partition once the maximum number of images has been
reached.
♦
recording speed at which the images are stored on the partition
♦
the indicator in the bottom right-hand corner shows whether a recording is in
progress or not
