Safety

Temperature limits:

The eSense PTC is usually installed in areas where children 

do not have access.

In the presence of children: once installed and fixed on a wall 

or flat surface, the product is safe, but during installation, if 

the box is not packed, be careful not to leave small 

components such as screws or fasteners near the children as 

they represent a risk of suffocation.

Environment of use

The eSense is designed for indoor use only

Do not carry the sensor in a breast pocket or near the 

peacemaker.

Immediately switch off the eSense if there is an indication of 

interference in progress.

If people in the vicinity of the device use other personal 

medical devices, consult your physician or device 

manufacturer to determine if it is adequately shielded from 

external RF energy, an area where sparks from the eSense 

could cause a fire or explosion.

Do not use or install in areas where any sparks could 

cause a fire or an explosion.

Warnings for 

transport

Observe all rules and instructions for transporting 

electronic devices that include lithium batteries. If 

eSense is transported on an airplane, make sure it has 

been turned off correctly using a magnet and following 

the shutdown procedure.

Medical devices

People with pacemakers should: keep at least 20 cm 

away from the eSense when it is on

The crossed-out symbol on the box on the battery, 

in the documentation or on the packaging indicates 

that all electronic products and batteries must be 

separated at collection points waste after use;

they must not be disposed of in the normal waste stream 

together with domestic waste. It is the responsibility of the 

user to dispose of the equipment using a collection point or a 

service for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic 

equipment (WEEE) and batteries according to current 

regulations.

Disposal and recycling

Make sure that no sharp objects, including animal teeth or 

nails, come into contact with the battery.

Do not expose the battery or device to direct sunlight and use 

it in places with high humidity.

To avoid electric shock or fire during charging operations, 

unplug the power cord and charger during thunderstorms. Do 

not open, disassemble, crush, bend or deform, puncture or 

destroy the battery.

Do not modify or reconstruct, do not attempt to insert foreign 

objects into the battery, do not immerse or expose to water or 

other liquids, or expose to fire, explosion or other hazards. 

These conditions may present a risk of fire or explosion.

Avoid dropping the device, especially on a hard surface or 

exposing the device and battery to liquid. In this case, 

contact Enebrain customer service to verify the integrity of 

the device.

Improper use of the battery may cause fire, explosion 

or other hazards.

Recharge eSense batteries only with prior authorization 

and indication from a technician

Battery warnings

Do not attempt to remove or replace the battery yourself. 

Only a service provider authorized by Enerbrain should 

replace the battery, which must meet the standards.
