1) Attach required filter as per image
- Charcoal for PID
- Soda Lime for CO2
2) Let the instrument draw in air for a minimum of 1 minute
Note: PPB sensors require 10 minutes of air flow
3) Once the readings have stabilised, press & hold the button
4) Release the button when the LCD prompts you to
5) Remove the Soda Lime or Charcoal filter and continue to Normal
Operating Mode
1) From normal measuring mode, press the button once. This will show the
“Select PID List” menu screen.
2) Press button to enter the PID gas list.
3) Use the up and down arrows to navigate to the desired measurement gas. Press
button to advance the selection.
4) Once the desired gas information is displayed on screen, press the
button to save the selection.
5) The menu will then return to the “Select PID list” menu screen where you can
verify the correct PID gas has been selected.
6) You can now press the button to return to the main measuring mode
screen, or the button to continue navigating the display mode menu items. If
no buttons are pressed for 20 seconds the screen will automatically return to main
measuring mode.
