OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

DEFROSTING WITH YOUR MICROWAVE

This is the perfect feature if you want to defrost foods.

1. Press DEFROST repeatedly to select “MEAT,” “POULTRY,” or “FISH.”

2. Press START.

3. Use the number pad to enter the weight of the item to be defrosted

(in pounds). For example, 10 = 1.0 lbs (any weight can be entered from 0.1

to 6.0 lbs)

4. Press START to begin defrosting. The remaining cooking time is dis-

played. Your microwave may beep periodically to remind you to turn food

over. Press START to continue.

TIPS FOR DEFROSTING MEAT

For best results, use the suggestions below when defrosting meat:

Use defrost only for raw food items.

For best results take food directly from the freezer.
