4 ommissioning
In this chapter you will find information on safely commissioning the CeBS.
4.1 harging the battery for the first time

Incorrect handling of electric currents and conducting components can trigger
electric shock.
Risk of electric shock!

Before every use, check the charger, power cord, and power plug for damage.
●
Do not use the charger if you notice or think there may be damage to it.
●
Do not use the charger if liquid or moisture has penetrated the charger.
●
Only use the charger to charge the original battery.
Before its initial use, the battery must be fully charged.
The surrounding temperature during charging may not be below +0 or above
+45 °C� The ideal surrounding temperature during charging is b10 and
+25 °C�
• Insert the battery cable into the charger
socket

on the built-in down tube bat-
tery.

As long as the built-in down tube battery is
charging, the LED on the battery’s charge
display will flash green.
–
When the built-in down tube battery is
fully charged, the LED will stop flashing
and light up green on the battery’s charge
display.
