Your new appliance

Press the retractable operating knob to pop it in or out.

Switching the hob on and off

Hob

Your hob comes with its own instructions for use. Read all the 

notes on safety before using the hob.
The

 symbol indicates which operating knob belongs to 

which hotplate (in the example: front left)

1.

To heat up, turn the operating knob clockwise to setting 9.

2.

Once the hotplate has heated up, turn the operating knob to 

the desired setting.

3.

To switch off the hotplate, turn the operating knob back to 

setting

The operating knobs can be adjusted infinitely.

Dual cooking zones

On glass ceramic hobs, you can switch on heating areas for 

large cookware.

1.

Turn the operating knob clockwise past setting 9 to setting 

ó

.

2.

Once the hotplate has heated up, turn the operating knob to 

the desired setting as with normal hotplates.

3.

To switch off the dual-circuit cooking zone, turn the operating 

knob back to setting

Note: 

With autofocus hotplates, the dual cooking zones switch 

on automatically. The 

ó

 setting on the operating knob has no 

function.

Cleaning and care

Risk of short circuit!

Do not use high-pressure cleaners or steam jet cleaners to 

clean your appliance.

Caution!

Risk of damaging the surface. Do not use sharp or abrasive 

cleaning agents. Do not use abrasive cleaning aids such as 

steel wool or scourers.

Caution!

Do not use steel wool pads as these may scratch off the 

lettering.
Wipe down the built-in control box with a soft, damp cloth. In 

the case of persistent dirt, add a few drops of a cleaning agent 

to the water. Wipe it again afterwards with a dry cloth.
Your hob comes with its own instructions for use. They contain 

information on care and cleaning.

Faults and repairs

It is not always necessary to call the after-sales service. 

Sometimes, you can find a remedy yourself. Bear in mind the 

following information, however:

Risk of electric shock!

Work on the appliance electronics may only be performed by 

an expert. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. 

Switch off the circuit breaker or take out the fuse in the 

household fuse box.

Problem

If the hobs will not turn on:

Check whether there has been a power failure.

Check the fuse for the appliance in your fuse box.

In the event of faults and repairs that you cannot rectify 

yourself, please use our after-sales service.
