Possible Displays

(see section “Different Scenarios” in the original instructions in English)

The alarm is signalled by a beep, and the tyre symbol on the cigarette lighter adapter lights

up orange.

Normal

The app's display shows the tyre pressure of all tyres.

The tyre symbol of the cigarette lighter lights up green.

Pressure loss

The tyre pressure of a specific tyre is shown in red and the top line on the display

shows "... Slow Leak" or "... Fast Leak".

Excessive

pressure

The tyre pressure of a specific tyre is shown in red and the top line on the display

shows "... High Pressure".

Temperature

Alarm

The tyre temperature of a specific tyre is shown in red and the top line on the

display shows "... High Temperature".

Battery warning

The position of a specific sensor is shown in red and the top line on the display

shows "... Low Battery".

Sensor error

The display for a specific sensor shows nothing and the top line on the display

header shows "... Sensor Failure".

If a sensor error is displayed, recode the sensor (see section “Sensor Coding”).

Replacing the Sensor Batteries

Keep batteries out of reach of children.

Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being swal-

lowed by children or domestic animals. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor im-

mediately.

Leaking or damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use

suitable protective gloves.

Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is a risk of

explosion!

Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries, risk of explosion!

Please observe the correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-) when inserting the battery.

Remove the batteries if you do not use the sensors for a longer period.

(1)  Push back the dust proof cover and loosen the lock nut on the sensor.
(2)  Unscrew the sensor from the valve.
(3)  Remove the special washer from the sensor.
(4)   Unscrew the sensor cap using the sensor tool supplied.
(5)   Replace the sensor battery with a new 3V lithium coin cell battery (CR1632). Please pay attention

to the correct polarity as shown in the picture.

(6)   Reinstall the sensor by following the steps described in the section “Sensor Installation”.

Do not mix up the sensor caps when replacing the battery; this may result in incorrect

mapping of the individual tyre positions.

The battery life is approximately 2-3 years. However, this depends very much on the mile-

age travelled. If a sensor battery is exhausted, the software app. delivers a battery warn-

ing. In this case, replace the sensor battery in question as described above.

Sensor Coding

The sensors have already been coded to the system at the factory. However, a sensor must be recoded

after it has been replaced.
(see section “Sensor Programming” in the original instructions in English)
(1)   Ensure that a Bluetooth connection to your mobile phone is present.
On the software application click the gear icon and select “Setting” on the top right in the software

window. Scroll down to point “Tire Match” and click on it.

(2)   Click “Enter” or “Yes” in the next window.
(3)   Screw the sensor to be recoded onto the corresponding tyre valve as described in the section

“Sensor Installation”.

(4)   The pressure of the corresponding tyre will appear in the display. Click on the desired sensor posi-

tion to map the sensor.

(5)   The tyre pressure of the sensor to be coded is displayed at the appropriate position and “Sensor

Reinstallment” is shown on the display.

(6)   Click “Enter” or “Yes” in the next window to complete the coding process. If you need to code ad-

ditional sensors, repeat the steps described above for other sensor positions.

After completion of the coding processes click “Return” on the top left in the software window to

exit coding.

Maintenance and Care

Regularly check the technical safety of the tyre monitoring system, e.g. for leaks at the sensors.
If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the product must be turned off and

precautions are to be taken to ensure that it is not used unintentionally.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
•  the cigarette lighter adapter or the sensors show visible damage
•  the system no longer functions or
•  following considerable mechanical stress
Apart from replacing the batteries, the system does not require any maintenance and should never

be disassembled.
Please use a soft and clean cloth for cleaning the display unit.
Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleansers. This may result in discolouration of the plastics of the

enclosure or damage to the surfaces.

Disposal

Electronic  devices  are recyclable  waste  materials  and  must  not  be  disposed  of  in  the

household waste!

Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current statu-

tory requirements.

Remove the batteries if there are batteries inserted and dispose of them separately from

the product.

Disposal of Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable

batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!

Batteries/rechargeable  batteries  are  labelled  with  the  symbol  shown  to  indicate  that

disposal in household waste is forbidden. The symbols of the critical heavy metals are:

Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable

battery, e.g. underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).

You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection points

of your community, in our stores, or at places where batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
