Introduction
Dear customer,
we would like to thank you for the acquisition of the signal convert-
er POF-820/830. You have acquired a product which is built to the
latest and highest technological standards.
The device has noise suppression. Therefore, the product fulfils
the requirements of the established European and national
guidelines. CE-conformity has been proven; the relevant docu-
ments are in the possession of the manufacturer.
To preserve this condition and to ensure safe operation, the user has
to heed this operating manual!
Prescribed use
With the signal converter POF-820, it is possible to convert digital,
electrical audio-signals in digital, optical audio-signals in the private
sector. With the signal converter POF-830, it is possible to convert
digital, optical audio-signals in digital, electrical audio-signals in the
private sector. The device is only suitable for operation with a suit-
able mains unit (which is not part of the scope of delivery). No other
energy supply may be used. The requirements which a suitable
mains unit must fulfil are to be found under "Power supply".
A use different to the one described above damages the product;
moreover, this involves dangers, like e. g. short-circuit, burning,
electric shock etc. The entire product must not be modified or
rebuilt!

Geachte klant,
hartelijk dank voor de aankoop van de signaalomzetter POF-
820/830.
Met de signaalomzetter POF-820/830 heeft u een product verwor-
ven, dat volgens de nieuwste technische inzichten vervaardigd
werd.
De signaalomzetter is radio-ontstoord en voldoet aan de eisen
van de geldende Europese en nationale richtlijnen. De confor-
miteit werd aangetoond, de betreffende verklaringen en docu-
menten werden bij de fabrikant in bewaring gegeven.
Gelieve als gebruiker deze gebruiksaanwijzing goed op te volgen
teneinde de onberispelijke toestand van de signaalomzetter te
behouden en een gebruik zonder gevaren te waarborgen!
Gebruik conform de voorschriften
Met de signaalomzetter POF-820 kan u bij privé toepassingen digi-
tale elektrische audiosignalen omzetten in digitale optische audio-
signalen.
Met de signaalomzetter POF-830 kan u bij privé toepassingen digi-
tale optische audiosignalen omzetten in digitale elektrische audio-
signalen.
Het toestel is enkel toegelaten voor de werking met een geschikte
netvoeding (niet inbegrepen bij levering). Een andere soort voe-
dingsspanning mag niet gebruikt worden.
