b) (Rechargeable) batteries
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the (rechargeable) batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a
long period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries
may cause acid burns if they come into contact with your skin. Always use suitable
protective gloves to handle damaged batteries.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave
(rechargeable) batteries lying around, as there is a risk that children or pets may
swallow them.
• (Rechargeable) batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into
fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
Installation
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are damaged when
drilling mounting holes or securing screws.
• Remove the battery tester from its holder in the battery box.
• Place the battery box in the desired position and align it using a spirit level.
• Mark the holes for three screws and then drill the holes. Depending on the surface, other
screws and/or dowels may be required. Screws and dowels are provided for mounting the
box on wooden furniture or walls.
• Attach the box to the screws using the mounting holes on the top of the box.
• After securing it to the surface, ensure that the box is sitting in the desired position and then
tighten the screws using a suitable Phillips screwdriver (not included). Do not overtighten
the screws.

Intended use
This product is designed to store up to 72 batteries of different types and sizes. It comes with a
battery tester that displays the remaining battery level. The box can be mounted horizontally or
vertically on furniture or walls using the screws and dowels provided.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in
bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the
product for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition,
improper use can cause hazards such as short circuits or fire. Read the instructions carefully
and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating
instructions.
