15. Maintenance and cleaning
Servicing or repair may only be carried out by a specialist/specialist workshop. There are no
components on the inside of the product that need maintenance by you, this is why you should
never open it (apart from the described approach to insert or change the batteries, in these
instructions).
To clean the exterior of the weather station, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Dust on the weather station can be easily removed with the help of a long-haired, soft and clean
brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Don’t press too hard on the display, this may cause scratch marks or lead to
failure of the display.
Use a slightly damp, clean and soft cloth to remove dirt from the outdoor sensor.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents, alcohol or other chemical solutions as
the surface of the housing could be damaged (discolouration).
