Intended use
This Wii© Remote Controller Charging Station is used as both storing position and charging
station. It is delivered with two 500 mAh rechargeable batteries.
The connection is done via USB cable either directly to the Wii© console or to a free USB port
of a PC or laptop.
All system components are only approved for use in dry indoor locations.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits,

re, electric shock, etc. The safety instruction must be followed at all times.
No part of the product should be modi
fi
ed or reassembled.
The safety instructions are to be observed without fail!
Explanation of the Symbols

A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of electric
shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates a particular risk during handling, opera-
tion and control.

The warranty will be void in the event of damage by failure to observe these
safety instructions! We do not assume liability for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The system components must not be modi

ed or converted, as not only the CE
approval will become void but also the warranty.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare hands. Use protective
gloves.
• The system components must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct
sunlight, intense vibration, humidity or heavy mechanical stress.
• After a rapid change in temperature, the system components need a certain time
to adjust to the new ambient temperature. Wait until the components have adjus-
ted to the ambient temperature before use.
• The system components are not toys and should be kept out of the reach of child-
ren!
• The package contains small parts that are swallowable.
• Use the charging station contained in the scope of delivery only to recharge the
batteries enclosed.
• Please contact a quali

ed specialist, if you are unsure about the correct use of the
product or regarding the safety.
• Never leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic foil/bags etc.
can be dangerous playthings for children, there is a risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect
the device immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the device is visibly damaged,
- the device does not function any longer and
- if the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time
or
- it has been subjected to considerable stress during transportation.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer’s
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are
to be observed.

Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by child-
ren or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical burns on contact
with the skin, if suitable protective gloves are not used.
• Make sure that batteries/accumulators are not short-circuited, disassembled or thrown into a
fi
re. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable
batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a longer period (e.g. storage), remove the inserted bat-
teries or rechargeable batteries. Old batteries may leak and cause damage to the product,
which will lead to the loss of the warranty/guarantee!
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read
the chapter “Disposal”.
Connection and Start-up
• Open the battery compartment of the Wii© Remote Controller.
• Remove the inserted batteries.
• Insert the battery pack enclosed.
• Connect the delivered USB cable to the charging station (connection on the rear side: INPUT:
5V DC).
• Connect the other end of the USB cable with the USB port of your Wii© console or to a free
USB port of your laptop or PC.
• Place the Wii© Remote Controller into the charging station.

If only one Wii©Remote Controller is placed into the charging station, it does
not matter which charging slot is used.
• During the charging process, the status LED of the corresponding charging slot lights in “red”.
• As soon as the rechargeable battery has been recharged, the status LED of the correspon-
ding charging slot lights in “blue”.

The charging time for the initial charging is approx. 10 hours. Each further
recharge takes approx. 4 hours (depending on the remaining capacity of the
rechargable battery).
• After a successful recharge it might be required to synchronise the Wii© Remote Controller
again. To do this, take the elongated synchronisation pen contained in the delivery and con-
fi
rm the “SYNC” button on the rear side of the Wii© Remote Controllers.
Maintenance and Cleaning
There are no parts on the system components requiring maintenance. Therefore, do never
open the components.
To clean the charging station, a dry, soft and clean cloth is suf
fi
cient.
Clean the charging station very carefully, otherwise you may scratch it. Do not use any aggres-
sive cleaning agents.
