36. Reset Settings
•
Press the "MENU" button (3) for approx. 4 seconds.
•
Use the buttons "Up" (5) or "Down" (4) to select the menu item System Settings
•
Push the button "Confirm" (9).
•
Select the buttons "Up" (5) or "Down" (4) in the mode "Reset settings".
•
Push the button "Confirm" (9).
•
Use the buttons "Up" (5) or "Down" (4) to select between "no" and "yes".
•
When selecting "No" and pushing the confirmation button (9), the display will automatically return to
setting mode.
•
Push the button "MENU" (3) to leave the setting mode to get to recording mode.
When selecting "Yes" and pushing the confirmation button (9), all settings are dele-
ted and returned to the original condition (at purchase of the camera).
•
The display automatically jumps back to recording mode after confirmation and reset.
37. Firmware Update
•
Press the "MENU" button (3) for approx. 4 seconds.
•
Use the buttons "Up" (5) or "Down" (4) to select the menu item System Settings
•
Push the button "Confirm" (9).
•
Select the buttons "Up" (5) or "Down" (4) in the mode "Firmware update".
•
Push the button "Confirm" (9).
•
Use the buttons "Up" (5) or "Down" (4) to select between "Cancel" and "Start".
•
When selecting "Cancel" and pushing the button "Confirm" (9), the display will automatically return to
setting mode.
•
Push the button "MENU" (3) to leave the setting mode to get to recording mode.
•
When selecting "Start" and pushing the button "Confirm" (9), the display will show "Please load the
firmware anew from the homepage".
•
Use the included USB extension cable between the camera and your PC or laptop as described in item
"9 Charging the battery" or item "39 Connection to a PC or laptop".
•
Push the button "Confirm" (9) after selection.
•
The display automatically jumps back to setting mode after confirmation.
•
Push the button "MENU" (3) to leave the setting mode to get to recording mode.
