13. Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant sta-
tutory regulations.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As a consumer you are required
(Battery Ordinance)
to responsibly dispose of all used batteries and
rechargeable batteries;
it is forbidden to throw them away with the normal household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the fol-
lowing symbol, indicating that it is not permitted to dispose of them in the domestic refu-
se. The symbols for dangerous heavy metal constituents are:
Cd
= cadmium,
Hg
= mer-
cury,
Pb
= lead (the names are indicated on the battery/accumulator, e.g. underneath the
dustbin symbol depicted on the left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point in your local
community, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
14. Troubleshooting
In purchasing the swivel, tilt camera with control unit you have acquired a product which has been designed
to the state of the art and is operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems and faults might occur. There-
fore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible faults:
