• Connect the mains lead, using the terminal board in the base plate (brown cable = L, blue
cable = N).
Make sure only the minimum required length of the cable is stripped; otherwise it
could cause a short-circuit.
Also check the other screw connections on the terminal board (for the connection
cables to the LED driver) and tighten them if necessary.
• Reconnect the LED board to the corresponding cable using the polarised plug connection
Next, position the LED board correctly on the base plate and screw it into place.
Warning!
During this process, ensure again, as when removing the LED board, that you do not
touch the LEDs, because they break very easily.
Furthermore, the LED board may not be placed under any mechanical loads. There-
fore, ensure that the mains lead is placed
fl
at in the base plate.
• Put the square, white cover that you removed earlier back onto the base plate (taking care
that it is positioned correctly) and screw it into place.
• Switch on the power and check that the LED ceiling light is functioning.
If the LED ceiling light does not light up, switch off the mains voltage immediately
(take out the fuse, switch off automatic cut-out, or switch off the FI protective switch).
Then check the connection for the LED ceiling light.
In case of doubt, contact a professional (e.g. an electrician)!
Maintenance and Care
• The LED ceiling light is maintenance-free. Repair or maintenance work must be carried out
by a specialist.
• Before cleaning, the LED ceiling light must be switched off and disconnected from the mains.
Then, allow the LED ceiling light to cool down suf
fi
ciently.
• The exterior of the LED ceiling light should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do not
use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing (caus-
ing discolouring) or impair operation.
Do not press too hard on the housing, as scratches might appear.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
