dangers associated with electrical devices. Do not let children use electrical devices unsupervised.
• Never touch the unit or the plug with damp or wet hands. This could result in a life-threatening electric
shock.
• The unit may only be used in dry inside areas.
• Never submerge the unit in water.
• In no case should you open the enclosure of the unit.

Installation
Option 1
1. Fasten the feet with the screws on the underside
of the unit.
2. Place the unit on a heat-resistant, level surface.
Make sure that the air entrance and exit on the top
and underside are unobstructed.
Option 2
1. Drill 2 fastening holes in the wall onto which it is
to be fastened, at the same distance apart as the
mountings on the back side of the unit.
2. Fasten the suspension brackets with the gap
facing upward with screws and plugs.
3. Hang the unit with the slots on it.
4. Tighten the remaining 2 brackets at the holes on
the underside, mark out the drill holes, drill them
and fasten the whole unit securely to the wall.
Version 02/10
1. Choose a place for attachment that allows free circulation of air and at which there are no
flammable objects.
2. Be careful not to damage any cables or pipes when drilling.
Operation
1. Connect the unit to a properly installed wall outlet with 230 V/
AC, 50 Hz.
2. Cross section and fuse protection of the feed line on which you
want to connect the unit should be sufficient for its output.
3. Turn the unit on with one of the toggle switches (1 & 2). The
indicator lamp on the switch lights up when the unit is in operation.
- No switch activated – switched off
- (2) Switch 750 W – heating with 750 W
- (1) Switch 1250 W – heating with 1250 W
- (1 & 2) Both switches 750 W / 1250 W – heating with 2000 W
4. Set the desired ambient temperature with the thermostat (3).
When the set temperature is reached, the unit switches off – or
on again, if it goes below the set temperature.
5. Pull the plug out of the socket after use.

A slight odour of something burning after switching on should to a large extent vanish after a short
time, when all dust particles still on the heating wires have been burned.

1. Set the time switch to the current time. For this, turn
the outer dial (7) clockwise until the clock time (24 h
plan) matches the radial arrow symbol (8). The outer
dial allows for time settings in 15 minute intervals.
2. Move the red slide switch (5) onto the clock symbol.
The time switch is now activated.
3. Set the switch-on and -off times by moving the
switch cams (4) outward. Each cam corresponds to a
duration of 15 minutes (cf. scale). When all cams are
pushed out, the heater is switched on for 24 hours.
4. Position I of the red slide switch (5) switches the
heating functions on continuously, so that manual
operation is possible (toggle switches 1 & 2). The
single-handed clock (6) keeps running, but has no
influence on these functions.
5. In Position 0 of the red slide switch (5), all heating
functions are switched off, but the clock continues
to run.
6. To turn the time switch off, pull out the power cord
of the unit.
Troubleshooting
Fault
Possible
Suggested solution
The device doesn’t work.
Power connection interrupted
/ thermostat set too high / the
overheating protection has turned
the unit off / Time switch has
turned the unit off
Check the power plug / set the
thermostat / wait until the unit
cools off / Check time setting
The LED doesn’t light up.
Heating not turned on / heating
element defective
Turn on heating level / repair by a
specialist / specialised workshop
Care and maintenance
Before every cleaning, separate the unit from the power network. If necessary, wait until it cools down to
normal temperature. It is best to clean the grille at bottom and top with a soft brush. The rest of the enclosure
is to be wiped off with a soft dry cloth, as needed. If there is more dirt, please use a lightly moistened cloth.
Do not use any abrasive cleaners or solvents.
After a longer period of not using the unit, make sure to remove most of the dust deposits from the heating
wires in the interior so that only slight remains are burned when turning it on again.
