Charging the battery

•   A blue, fast-

fl

ashing light at front near the lens signals a low rechargeable battery capacity.

•   To charge the battery, remove the dust protection cap "4" from the camera by turning the cap

in the anti-clockwise direction.

•  Connect the mini-USB connector with the mini-USB port "7" of the camera.
•   Connect the USB cable either to your computer or to the provided wall plug transformer. Plug

the wall plug transformer into a mains socket. A green illuminated LED signals the power
supply of the wall plug transformer.

•  The charging function is signalled by a blue LED on the camera.
Once the battery is fully charged, the LED on the camera changes to green.
•   Disconnect the mini-USB connector from the camera and pull out the wall plug transformer

from the mains plug if necessary, or disconnect the USB cable from your computer.

•   Always mount the dust protection cap on the camera so that the product continues to retain

its protection type and the connecting contacts are not polluted. Please ensure that the seal-
ing ring in the dust protection cap is also installed.

   Please note that before the

fi

rst use, the rechargeable battery should be charged for

at least 12 hours.

Recharge the battery fully no later than after 14 days, even if you do not use the
product. Otherwise the battery could become exhausted and thereby damaged.
