2. Intended Use
The dirt water pump is intended for private use. The product is not intended for operation of irrigation or irrigation
systems in commerce, industry or public areas (e.g. garden facilities).
The dirt water pump serves, e.g., to pump out basements, tanks, rain water cisterns, wells, shafts or smaller garden
ponds.
Only clean water, dirt water or water with floating solids with a diameter of up to 35 mm is permitted as conveyed liquid.
Never convey any other liquids (e.g. salt water, goods, flammable/explosive liquids like gasoline or fuel oil). The
conveyed liquid must not be hotter than +35 °C.
A flat switch activates the dirt water pump automatically when the water level rises. The float switch can, however,
be attached to the dirt water pump side if not in use.
Read these operating instructions thoroughly and carefully, they contain a lot of important information for
commissioning and operation. Observe the safety information and all other information in these operating
instructions. These operating instructions must be available at the site of deployment of the product at all times and
be read and observed by every person who uses/operates the product.
Any use other than that described will lead to damage to the product and involves additional risks such as, for
example, short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.
