Driver/Software Installation

• Start up your operating system. Place the CD included in delivery in the correspon-

ding drive of your computer.

• Now the software should automatically start and you can install the software. If the

CD does not autostart you have to start the installation program on the CD manually
(main directory of the CD, e.g. using „autorun.exe“ or the like).

Follow the program’s instructions.

Observe possible information from the manufacturer on the CD.

• Connect the USB connector to a free USB2.0 port on your computer, using the USB

cable supplied when the software asks you to. Windows recognises the new hard-
ware and completes the driver installation.

• Start the software.

Use

• Move the front side of the camera as close as possible to the desired object (e. g.

place the front side on a daily newspaper).

• Via the big adjustment wheel you can set a sharp picture; using the small adjust-

ment wheel on the side the brightness of the integrated white LEDs can be altered.

Do not overwind the adjustment wheel. Turn the adjustment wheel slowly
so that you can focus the picture exactly. Depending on the distance to the
examined object there might be two positions where the lenses can be
focused (with different zoom levels).

With reflective surfaces or objects the LED light can cause too bright pic-
tures or reflections; reduce the LED’s brightness.

the optics (lens will get dirty).

tion.

• A slidable plastic plate (with a magnet at the bottom) can be attached to the table

stand. Two metal clamps can be clipped to the plastic plate, e.g. to fixate a slide.

• Instead of the metal clamps the provided rotary table can be put on, which also dis-

• The button on top of the microscope camera is used to control the photo capture fea-
