1 Intended use
The product is a bicycle stand. Use the product to temporarily hold one bicycle to repair or
maintain it. Do not use the product to hang other objects than bicycles.
If you use the product outdoors, make sure it stays dry.
If you use the product for purposes other than those described, the product may be dam-
aged.
Improper use can result in hazards.

5 Safety instructions

5.1 General

The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous
playing material for children.

Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be completed by a technician or an
authorised repair centre.
5.2 Moving parts
■
Moving parts can trap body parts. Keep fingers and other body parts away from moving
parts.
5.3 Setup location
■
Uneven and unstable surfaces can make the product fall over and cause accidents.
Choose a stable and even surface that can withstand the combined weight of the product
and the bicycle.
■
The product can fall over and hit people if it does not stand vertically. Always place the
product so that it stands vertically.
5.4 Do not overload
■
Overloading can cause the product to break or fall over and cause injury. Never exceed
the maximum permissible load given in the product specifications.
5.5 Check for loose components
■
Screws, bolts, and clamps can become loose. The product can collapse and cause in-
jury. Check all screw fastenings and clamps before EVERY use and tighten them if
loose.
■
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and pro-
tect it from any accidental use. DO NOT attempt to repair the product yourself. Safe op-
eration can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
– is visibly damaged,
– is no longer working properly,
– has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
– has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
