Intended use
The product is intended for installation in a PCIe slot of a suitable computer and provides two
available slots for M.2 SATA SSDs.

Any use other than described above may lead to damage this product and can also increase

Installation
If you do not have the expertise to perform the installation, please arrange for
the installation to be carried out by an expert or a suitable specialist shop!
Turn off the computer, it is to be installed in the framework of exchange and
all connected devices, and disconnect all devices from the mains voltage,
unplug the power cord! Just turning off at the on/off switch is not enough!
• Please open your computer case and remove the cover carefully.
• Replace the M.2 card into the corresponding slots (1 and 2), screw it tight.
Depending on the length of the M.2 card, the corresponding spacers can be mount-
ed in a different location.
Remove the fastening screw of the spacer from the back of the board. Place the
spacer in the matching M.2 card slot, and screw it again tightly.
• Locate a free PCIe slot, remove the respective slot cover and insert the card into the PCIe
slot. Screw down the plug-in card (unless the computer case you use provides an option of
screwless installation).
For this purpose at least one PCIe x2 slot is required. The slot card can also be inserted into
a x4, x8 or x16 slot.
To install the plug-in card in a flat computer casing, a low-profile slot bracket is
provided. Remove the long slot bracket (3) from the plug-in card and then mount the
low-profile slot bracket.
• Connect the power connection (4) of the plug in card with an appropriate power plug of the
PC power supply.
• Close the computer housing.
• Connect the computer and monitor to the mains voltage and switch on all devices.
• If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off immediately and check all the settings
and cable connections.
Before reopening the computer, disconnected it from the mains voltage, see above!
Driver installation
The driver is already included in the operating system (Windows 7 or higher, Mac OS 10.9.1
or higher required).
Partitioning / formatting
Partitioning and Formatting the following M.2 SSDs is performed as with conventional SSDs /
HDDs (e.g., Windows in the Control Panel and in Disk Management).
Disposal
Electrical and electronic equipment should not be disposed of in domestic waste.
Please dispose of the device at the end of its service life in accordance with the
applicable statutory provisions.
