10 Troubleshooting

Problem

The ADD WATER 

indicator lights up.

Low water level or lack of water. Stop making ice, refill water and 

then press the ON/OFF key to 

restart the ice-making process.

11 Cleaning and care

Important:

 

– Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol, organic solvent, boiling water, 

detergent, strong acid, strong alkali or other chemical solutions. They damage the 

housing and can cause the product to malfunction.

 

– Do not immerse the product in water.

11.1 Cleaning the ice making components (daily)

To ensure quality ice, the ice making components need to be cleaned regularly with the self-

cleaning function.
1.  Press the ON/OFF key to turn the ice maker off.
2.  Repeatedly press the SELECT key until the CLEAN indicator light lights up.

The self-cleaning process starts.

3.  After several minutes, the self-cleaning process will be complete when the ice shovel 

stops moving and the POWER indicator starts flashing.

You have cleaned the ice making components.

11.2 Cleaning the interior (weekly)

To ensure quality ice and hygiene, clean the interior parts at least one time per week.

Preparing
1.  Press the ON/OFF key to turn the ice maker off.
2.  Disconnect the ice maker from the power supply.
3.  Let the ice maker rest until it has reached room temperature.

Draining the water

Drain plug

Countertop 

1.  (If there is any residual water in the ice tray) gently push the ice tray back so that all water 

drains into the water tank.

2.  Place the ice maker so that the drain plug is approximately 60 mm off the countertop 

edge.

3.  Open the drain plug to start draining the water. Tilt the ice maker to an approximate angle 

of 30 degrees with the drain plug at the lowest point to help drain the water.

Cleaning the interior
1.  Remove the ice basket.
2.  Clean the interior of the ice maker with a soft cloth soaked with warm water and vinegar. 
3.  Rinse the interior with clean water. Drain the water.
4.  Replace the drain plug.

Cleaning the accessories
Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.

11.3 Cleaning the housing

1.  Disconnect the ice maker from the power supply.
2.  Clean the housing with a dry, fibre-free cloth.

12 Storage

Important:
The incline angle of the ice maker must not exceed 

45

° degrees during storage.

1.  Disconnect the ice maker from the power supply.
2.  Drain the water from the water tank.
3.  Let the interior dry completely.
4.  Store the ice maker in a dry environment.

13 Disposal

This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the 

EU market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as 

unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.
Owners of WEEE shall dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. 

Spent batteries and accumulators, which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well 

as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must 

be removed by end users from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is 

handed over to a collection point.

Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back
