Condor Rangehood Installation Instructions
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CONDOR RANGE
To suit wall mounted models:
• Balmoral
• Boston
• Cubica
• Baltimore
1. Determine hood position on wall 1000mm to 1400mm above barbecue.
2. Unpack Rangehood.
3. Mark centre line on wall.
4. Mark base line on wall (Note: if shroud being used, the height of the shroud will determine
the height of the hood).

Mark the outlet hole in the ceiling for the flue and cut out, removing any obstructions
allowing clear access for the flue (Note: if using rear duct, mark and cut hole at this time).
6. Remove the perforated rear panel in hood by removing bolts with a 7mm hex socket.

Drill fixing holes in rear of hood to suit available fixing points on wall making sure to get
fixing as high and as wide as possible in Rangehood to avoid sagging from wall. (Please
refer to Rangehood diagram for example of possible fixing points)
8.
Remove plastic cover from rear mounting plate and fix to wall at base height of hood
making sure this is level and exactly central.
9.
Transfer fixing locations from hood to wall and drill fixing holes. Insert plugs to allow or use
Dyna bolts as an alternative.
10. Locate position for power cable and drill hole for cable using a hole saw. Consult your
electrician for his preferred location.

CONDOR WALL MOUNTED
Prior to installation it will be necessary to ensure there is adequate space above the
rangehood clear of structural beams for the ducting and that there are suitable
fixing points in the wall.
Rangehood weight 50-60 kg plus ducting.
Recommended installation height above BBQ is 1000mm - 1200mm.
Proceedure:-
1. Make wall or ceiling penetration for the ducting.
2. Locate the power cable in the wall and exit the cable through the wall in the
corresponding position of the power entry hole on the back of the rangehood.
3. The rear panel of the rangehood on the inside is covered with a soundproofing
panel (perforated). Remove the fixing bolts, 7mm hex socket required.
4. Fix through the galvanized back panel to wall with suitable fixing bolts.
5. Replace perforated panel.
6. Connect power to junction box.
7. Fit off ducting as required. Condari will make special duct pieces on request.
8. Do not reduce the duct size . Do not use flexible ducting.
