OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the kettle from the base (6), press the button for opening the lid (4), open the lid (1), and fill the appliance
with cold water within the
permitted maximum only
. If the water level in the kettle is under the recommended
minimum, the kettle will keep overheating and turning off prematurely.
Note:
Make sure that the lid (1) is closed properly, otherwise the kettle can not turn off automatically
2. Place the kettle on the base (6); electric contacts will get connected automatically. Thanks to the central connector
design, the kettle can
turn around 360°
and be put on the base from any side.
3. Connect the base to the mains.
4. Turn the kettle on by pressing the switch ON/OFF (7).
5. Unless you select another programme, the kettle automatically boils water at 100. After reaching the boiling point,
you hear an audible signal and the kettle switches off automatically.By pressing the ON/OFF button you can stop the
heating process early.

Selecting a programme
Press the PROGRAMME button (X) and set the required heating temperature by pressing the + / - (X) buttons. Confirm
your selection by pressing the ON/OFF button. The kettle starts to heat up to the set temperature and the display
shows the preset temperature and the corresponding mode.
You can select from the following programmes:
40°C – 60°C – 80°C –90°C – 100°C – Keep Warm 70°C
The kettle automatically shuts off after reaching the set temperature (does not apply to programme KEEP WARM).
After switching the kettle off, the display will flash until the sensor stops working.
KEEP WARM function
When selecting this programme, the display automatically shows
70
. Use the +/- buttons to adjust the temperature
(each step is +/- 5). Confirm your selection by pressing the START/STOP button. In 3 seconds the kettle switches on. Use
this function to maintain a preset temperature.
7.Switch off the kettle by holding the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.

Standby Mode
If the kettle is off, activate the standby mode by holding the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. When in this mode, the kettle
display shows the current set temperature but the appliance does not heat up.
Note:
It is not a sign of a defect when a small amount of water droplets appear on the kettle base (7). It is a small amount
of condensed steam, which deactivates the kettle thermostat.
CAUTION
Prior to first use, we recommend boiling the maximum volume of water in the kettle at least 3 times, then pouring it
out. The kettle is then ready for operation.
The kettle may only be used with the supplied base.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning!
Prior to each cleaning operation disconnect the lead-in cable of the appliance from el. socket!
Prior to start any handling operation, make sure that the appliance is cooled down!
Use only a wet rag for cleaning surface of the appliance, do not use any cleansers or hard things which could damage
the surface!
