TROUBLESHOOTING
Defect description Possible cause Solution
Lamps illuminate but the
motor stands idle
The motor blades are blocked. Contact the service centre.
The motor or its essential parts are
damaged.
Contact the service centre.
The plug inserted incorrectly or
insufficiently in the wall outlet.
Check connection of the plug.
The wall outlet is not energized.
Check that the wall outlet is
energized, e.g. by connecting another
appliance.
Lamps do not illuminate
and the motor stands idle

windows opened.
Close some doors or windows.
The motor stopped
working
The thermal overload protection against
the motor overheating triggered.
Improve the room ventilation, open
doors or windows or check distance
between the hood and the cooking
plate. If required, increase distance
between the hood and the cooking
plate.
